The Greater Los Angeles MFA Exhibition (GLAMFA) features work by current and recent graduate students throughout greater Los Angeles.  The 2008 GLAMFA committee selected Keller-Konya’s “Specimens” from North America’s Most Polluted River work for the 2008 GLAMFA exhibition.  The opening reception will take place Sunday, September 7th from 4 – 9pm at five of the California State University Long Beach Art Department Galleries.  Gallery hours: August 25th – 29th by appointment, September 2nd  – 10th Monday through Friday 12noon – 5 pm and Wednesdays from12noon – 7pm.  Directions to the exhibition and more information about GLAMFA can be found at: www.greaterlamfa.com

Juror Kim Abeles selected three pieces of Keller-Konya’s work for inclusion in the “Here & Now” exhibition at the Brand Library Art Galleries.  The “Here & Now” exhibition will run from September 27th – October 31st, 2008 with an opening reception on Saturday, September 27th from 4-7pm.  Gallery hours: Tuesday & Thursday 12-8pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Friday & Saturdays 10am-5pm.
